~ Natural Born Liars ~ part 1

Berbohong sudah menjadi suatu kebiasaan buruk, dimana kebohongan bisa menjadi sebuah literatur dari jaman ke jaman dimana kita bisa sangat menikmati alur literatur yang dibumbui oleh adegan adegan tersebut. Seperti Mark Twain pernah berkata: 

 “Everybody lies . . . everyday, every hour, awake, asleep, in his dreams,in his joy, in his mourning. If he keeps his tongue still his hands, his feet, his eyes, his attitude will convey deception.”

  Dan sepertinya ketidakjujuran sudah menjadi kondisi yang fundamental, yang bisa dengan kehendak bebas bisa dengan tanpa batasan keluar begitu saja. Pengakuan dari Mark Twain sepertinya makin kukuh dengan percobaan yang pernah dilakukan oleh Robert S. Feldman seorang Psikolog dengan secara diam diam merekam pembicaraan beberapa siswa yang sengaja dipertemukan dan diwawancarai oleh seorang yang tidak dikenal oleh siswa tersebut, dan dari hasih wawancara tersebut, shocking fact..  dari hasil wawancara setelah sang psikolog membeberkan rekaman ke siswa tersebut mengakui 60% dari hasil wawancara tersebut adalah bohong belaka.

Secara tidak sadar kita juga telah melakukan kebohongan nonverbal dengan menggunakan Make Up berlebihan, rambut palsu, operasi mempercantik diri, cara berpakaian dan bentuk usaha lain dengan maksud menutupi bentuk yang asli dari penampilan kita. Hal hal di atas tentunya akan menimbulkan satu pertanyaan: Mengapa kita berbohong begitu gampangnya? dan jawabannya adalah: karena berbohong tersebut memang membantu. Kadang kadang kita harus bisa mengikuti alur sosial dari sekitar kita untuk bisa sukses, walaupunn tujuan kita adalah agar tetap bisa memiliki status sosial yang lebih tinggi dari yang lain dengan cara apapun. Berbohong memang bisa membantu, dan berbohong terhadap diri sendiri membantu kita untuk bisa menerima bentuk bentuk kecurangan yang pernah kita lakukan.

You Are Not Alone

Jika memang fakta  ini membuat kita tidak merasa nyaman, kita bisa menarik nafas lega karena selain species manusia Homo sapiens, tumbuhan dan hewan hewan dalam komunikasinya menggunakan suara, gerakan, warna tubuh dan cara cara lain menampilkan cara cara yang bisa dikategorikan curang alias berbohong, contohnya adalah Bunga Anggrek, yang mengahasilkan cairan dengan aroma khas untuk mengundang serangga bisa bertahan lama dan memastikan serbuk sari dari anggrek tersebut melekat dengan sempurna pada tubuh serangga terebut, dan terbang bersama serangga ke  bunga anggrek lain untuk menghasilkan gen anggrek yang baru. Untuk hal berbohong demikian juga hal tersebut di praktekkan oleh ular hog-nosed yang sama sekali tidak berbahaya, dimana ketika merasa terancam oleh predator, akan meratakan bentuk kepalanya seperti seekor ular kobra dan mendesis seakan akan menyerang predator tersebut.

Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembohongan ada kaitannya dalam hal mempertahannkan kelanjutan hidup, namun hal ini semakin ribet ketika kaitan tersebut kita acukan pada manusia saat ini.  Popularitas seseorang ada kaitannya dengan kemampuan berbohong dari orang tersebut, kita memalsukan Resume CV ntuk mendapatkan perkerjaan, penjiplakan karya orang lain, berbohong ke partner lain agar bisa dekat dengan seseorang, sebuah riset membuktikan bahwa pembohong lebih gampang mendapatkan perkerjaan, dan mendapatkan pasangan.

Pembodohan Diri Sendiri

Ironisnya, alasan utama mengapa kita gampang berbohong kepada orang lain adalah karena kita begitu gampang berbohong terhadap diri sendiri, Walaupun kita lebih gampang menghakimi orang yang berbohong  kepada kita dan lupa akan kebohongan kita sendiri. Pengalaman dibohongi oleh seseorang akan terasa sangat berbekas, walaupun kebohongan kita sendiri akan kita lupakan begitu saja. Fenomema Pembohongan diri sendiri telah membingungkan para Filsuf dan Psikolog dalam 2000 tahun ini.

 

 

 

MIDAI

This is my story about my experience going to Midai..
Me and my friends yuri and Bangun assign a troubleshooting job after one of our outer Site down since 29th of February and took our gear include LIFE VEST because we were so aware about the wave that reported at many media in batam and went to MIDAI at 19th March, MIDAI is a small Island contain only 4k of men, located at the north of Indonesia,
. We took the Trigana Air from Batam and Took off at 10:00 am, we were arriving at Natuna Island about 10:50am and call Mr.Banta our siteKeeper at natuna to pick us at the airport , we were told by mr.Banta that our ship that would travel us to Midai would be arrived at 01:00 at selat lampa, we were directly go to one of our site to spend our free time and checking and testing at BTS Ranai a.k.a RA3054+Ranai. We took a rest at mr.Banta Home and go to Selat Lampa Harbour at 21:00 and arrived at 23:00, Mr.Ahen deliver us to that harbour, we bought our ticket and ready to go at 02:00, we entered the ship at 02.15 and sleep a while and wait for the the ship to sail,
we were awake at 05:00 and thought that we already arrived because we heard the ship horn sound, and we thought wrong because the ship is just started to sail to MIDAI we were arrived at MIDAI at 11:00 and Picked up by Mr.Dadang at the harbour we took 3 motorcycles and directly go to mr.dadang house to take lunch and rest a while, we were so eager to check the site, so we talked not much and took the gear to site

IMAGINATION

\Let us for a moment discuss the word imagination, and what it entails.  It is a most wonderful tool everyone is gifted with to varying degrees.  It is a tool, which has brought great progress to the planet in science, art, crafts, music and more.  However, it has also been used to retard progress on the planet, especially in regard to the human propensity to make war.  Mankind cannot be said to have moved out of the cave of barbarism as long as war is being waged.  Also, imagination has been used very negatively in the area of religion.  It has enslaved the minds of man, women and children by inciting fear and damnation to the point of paralysis.  This has brought no end of misery to the hearts of the innocent.  This planet is threatening to sink into an abyss of fear, as even your news media is ‘pointing’ you in this direction.

Enough of negativity! Now we will switch and talk about the positive side of imagination.  Your text (The Urantia Book) relates the story of the childhood of the boy, Joshua Ben Joseph, better known as Jesus; a most imaginative lad, who developed a wide array of skills in painting, sculpting, music, and more.  He was most prolific until he drew a picture of his teacher, the chazan, in the sand of the classroom floor.  The chazan was most perturbed by the performance of the young lad, so the elders of the synagogue decided that something ought to be done about the boy.  They went to his parents, and therewith officially forbade the lad to engage in any kind of art, as he was breaking the commandment of the law, never to make graven images.

It was one of the great trials in his young life to be so stifled in his creative imagination.  So too has mankind labored under old, worn-out laws of do’s and don’ts, with as a result that creative imagination has been stifled under fear of damnation.  God has bestowed upon each human mind a creative ability to think with imagination.  Time has arrived that this faculty be put to greater use to make this world a better and safer place to live.  Do not let fear of the future stifle you any longer.  Your potential capabilities are far greater than has heretofore been imagined.  Cut loose from worries and fear, and teach your souls to soar with wings of hope and trust on the winds of faith, because with God, all things are possible.

You can turn things around by changing your mind.  Nothing is carved in stone.  Put head and heart together in creative imagination.  Dare to dream of great and wonderful things, which will benefit all of mankind.  Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind.  Roll up the ‘blinds’ in your minds, and let the Light of God come in.

POTTER

THE WILL..

Something about the will, the defenition of will, taken from collins dictionary is:

 

1. a strong determination

2. desire or wish

so it’s something that related about desire or even about wishing something, we can say that, will is a thought that we plan is the best suited condition that may happen to us, Nietzsche defines will as “creative spark” a certain independence and stubbornness, and how do we exercising a will? if we prefer doing something our own at our own risk at our own ability and disability than guided by someone advice or recommendation , well that’s what we call exercising our own will, a will is a spark that affected by our spontaneous thinking, it’s wild, roaming, unstable and affected by internal and external factor, internal factor is a pure will and i call it Free Will, everybody has their own wildest thought about something, willing for something weird, willing for something scary about their own, somebody shot their own president it’s a will, somebody jump out of a tall building and died that’s a will too. You have your own will, when your self conscious playing in your activity and affect your decision. that’s why will is very identical with wildness, stubborn, uncontrolled, roaming free so there is no limitation in it, we’re dying to learn to control our will by learn day by day and not falling to the same hole in our life, i have the least knowledge about this topic of will, a very little that i know that we always associate our will with our own perspective and our own compatibility without respecting other condition. so if people of the earth contains of billions of people so that’s the kind of will exist in our world, and how do learn the way to unite those all will?

 

 

MY WEDDING..

My first blog would be an announce about my wedding, my name is Roy Harris Simatupang, I work in Batam now, I would like to spread my joy and sending my invitation to all people that would like to come to my wedding ceremony that will be held at my hometown Laguboty 29th dec 2007 at 10:00 am. it would be an honor and be a great blessing to us to welcome you as our guest, and there will be a batak’s tribe ceremonial wedding party like manortor all day long so prepare for your physical fitness cause there will many gondang’s request and be not hesitate to come forward and join the other doing tortor dance, there would be a circular tortor that would circulate our family doing things such tortor and give blessing to our marriage such as my tulang’s family a.k.a hula hula that we know as the most honourable guest at this ceremony. My oppung would come too as the hula hula side and give blessing to the bride, my oppung now live in silaen and at the age of 73th age i guess they still have a healthy shape,do things like go to hauma and marbabo still in the daily joblist of my oppung at our home town, i admire my oppung as a great leader in my family and now he has tens of his grandchildren doesn’t make him less charming.

Ok back to my wedding then, I would like to share stories about my fiancee, her name is maria oktarianti a javanese girl that i met in bandung during my college and i made my decision to take her as my girlfriend at 7.7.2003 the same date i take her as my fiance at 2007 at lampung her hometown, but under circumstances of the wedding there’s a old rules that state that it would be nice a non batak bride candidate make a simple ceremonial and make them as new batak member and will occupy a new marga that usually by tulang or amangboru marga, such as my fiance now she has new name after my tulang and take her as her new daughter an name her as Hanna Panjaitan, this ceremonial doesn’t mean to separate her to her own original family instead of to simplify the the adat in batak during the wedding party, because it would be weird to held a batak wedding party if a man or woman bride is non batak tribe coz things such a dalihan natolu connection is vanish I think so, because there is no such a adat that held batak to a non batak bride, usually this wedding would be national wedding party i guess.
